Mango, participant in the Eukanuba 28 day challenge

Mango has now finished her Eukanuba 28 Day Challenge. To review, Mango is a 17 month old female pit bull who owns my friends, Sam and Tia. Sam and Tia kindly allowed her to take part in the challenge. For the past month, Mango has been eating Eukanuba Adult Maintenance diet. These are a few of the questions we were asked and our answers to them. In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that Mango’s food was provided at no cost by Eukanuba in exchange for taking part in the challenge.

What physical changes are you noticing the most?

Mango has done very well on the Eukanuba food. Her skin and hair coat looks shiny and healthy. She continues to be very active, though this is not really a change for her.

Is your dog still enthusiastic about the food?

Yes, Mango still seems to enjoy the food, though she still tries to “steal” food from her two four-legged brothers as well.

Have you seen any changes in your dogs weight (maintained weight, shed a few pounds)?

We’ve seen no change in Mango’s weight. She was at her ideal body condition before we started the challenge and maintained her weight beautifully. She still remains at an ideal body weight.

What has surprised you the most about your dog on Eukanuba?

I spoke with Sam and Tia about this earlier. (Sam and Tia are Mango’s owners and graciously agreed to allow me to monitor Mango through her Eukanuba 28 Day Challenge.) I think the thing they were most surprised about is the fact that the volume of Mango’s feces was much less than it was previously when she was on her last food. Sam seemed very impressed and pretty happy about that.
