Well, Jasmine isn’t a crazy chewer. She’s only interested in the ‘soft’ stuff on top of the bone, not trying to chew the bone itself. Plus I sit there with her the whole time

Brushing, just like in people, doesn’t remove 100% typically. We still have to go to the dentist for cleanings and so do our pets

Bones can make a difference but they are controversial because they can break teeth also. Glad they work for you and Jasmine and JD though.

I think Dr. Patrick is using electric toothbrush for Cardiff.

We brush twice daily. It doesn’t seem to be working 100%. I do find, though, that chewing on a good bone does make a positive difference.

Did you buy an electric toothbrush for yourself, or for your pet? I’ve never used an electric toothbrush on a dog or cat before. I’m not sure whether any of my pet parent clients have, but I don’t think so. If you attempt it, please let us know how it works for you.
